Founded in 1989 as independent general lines insurance agency in the State of Florida, Freedom Insurance proudly serves and caters to our Ft. Lauderdale and South Florida communities in the tri-county area—Broward, Dade and Palm Beach—represented by some of the most diverse risks in the State, as well as all of Florida.

Since the company’s inception in 1989, Freedom Insurance has maintained its original headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale on Route 441, now known as The Freedom Building, with a physical address of 101 S. State Road 7, Plantation, Florida 33317.

The success of Freedom Insurance Agency has been achieved in part through a combination of hard work, determination and persistence, superior communication with industry leaders and consumers, extensive agent training, and the ability to quickly adapt and conquer the ever-changing and, at times, challenging, rules and regulations of the Florida insurance industry.
